El mismo se realizó en el marco del apoyo, del Departamento de Estudios Judaicos, al proyecto Morei Morim Le Horaat HaShoá (Formadores de Maestros en la enseñanza del Holocausto), organizado por la Escuela Internacional de Estudios del Holocausto y Museo Yad Vashem de Jerusalem, y el Claims Conference de Alemania. Sobreviviente de la Shoá Isaac Borojovich brindando testimonio "Scratch Day - ORT Uruguay University" La Facultad de Ingeniería organizó el "Scratch Day" el 15 de mayo. Scratch es un lenguaje de programación que permite crear animaciones, juegos y ayuda a familiarizarse con los conceptos básicos de la programación. Dicho evento, organizado en varios países simultáneamente por el equipo de Scratch del Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) , contó con dos actividades: un taller abierto al público, en el cual se realizaron prácticas en computadora y una reunión de difusión y presentación para docentes.
