de Adobe Flash Player. Full Semester Program for International Students ORT has developed a special semester program for international students coming from non-partner universities. The program is designed for students who have completed six semesters of Spanish (or equivalent) at their home institution. Brochure (pdf) Application form (doc) The program offers: - Workshop on Spanish language and culture. Includes Spanish for communication purposes, field trip and individualised research project on Latin American cultural topics. 3 hours per week / 6 ECTS credits. - On-site orientation and academic advisors - Up to 5 regular courses to be selected from the programs offered by our schools. The selection of courses must be according to the student’s academic background and Spanish level: Program at a glance: Length: 1 semester/year. (48 hours per semester) Entry language competence: Pre-advanced or advanced Requirements: 6 semesters of Spanish courses or equivalent Language used in course work: Spanish Context of academic work: Direct enrollment with host culture students + one class tailored for international students Types of Student housing: Optional (homestay, student residence, apartment or apart-hotel) Semester program fee: 2.900 US dollars* *This fee is subject to periodical adjustments. March term fees are updated on the 15th of August. August term fees are updated on the 15th of February. The fee includes: -Tuiton -On-site coordinator and advisor -Access to computer labs, university libraries and other facilities -Transcripts issued by ORT. Credits adapted to the American system or the ECTS system. -Advice and orientation on housing accommodations and medical insurance Important Exchange Students from our partner universities may participate in the Spanish course offered in this program without additional charges.
