23 Universidad ORT Uruguay OF THE LIBRARY COLLECTION 2010 Available electronic bibliographic databases Our university has subscribed to the following databases: SpringerLink A package comprising 13 databases with over four million references in the fields of Architecture and Design, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Statistics, and Engineering, among others. It also includes the full-text e-book collection from 2005 to 2006. ACM Digital Library (Association for Computing Machinery) Includes the full-text collection of all journal articles, periodicals, conference papers, and proceedings published by ACM from 1950 to the present. EBSCOhost A package comprising nine databases with unlimited access. It covers topics in economics, education, business publications, management, computing, and related fields, with bibliographic reference sources and over 5,000 full-text titles. Two enhanced versions have been added to the databases we subscribe to in the business area: Business Source Premier and the Ibero-American journal database Fuente Académica Premier. ProQuest A package comprising eleven databases with unlimited access, including academic and peer-reviewed publications in the fields of business, marketing, human resources, humanities, social sciences, education, science, and technology, as well as over two million abstracts of doctoral dissertations and master’s theses covering all disciplines of knowledge. Journal Citation Reports (Thomson Reuters) Recently added, this resource allows for a critical evaluation of the most prominent academic journals classified by field of study. It offers quantifiable statistical information based on citation data. It provides impact and influence metrics, including the Impact Factor and Eigenfactor™ of journals. In addition, the Timbó Portal (ANII) provides access to the databases it currently subscribes to, which can be accessed via http://www.timbo.org.uy: OvidSP - Wolters Kluwer Health, JStor, Springer, Ebsco, Scopus, IEEExplore, Science Direct. All these information sources can be accessed from the computers available on the Centro and Pocitos campuses.
