First Prize in the “Young Artists 2010” photography contest organized by the Alliance Française for her exhibition “Come In and You Will Be Served.” She exhibited her photographs at the institution’s headquarters. March. Samuel Liberman Student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising Communication. First Prize, together with Germán Kropman, in the Professionals category of the “Young People with Ideas” contest at the Uruguayan advertising festival “Desachate 2010.” As a prize, this duo traveled to represent Uruguay in the Young Creatives Marathon at the Ibero-American Advertising Festival (FIAP), which took place in Buenos Aires. March. Arnel Dalmedo Graduate of the Sports Journalism Technician program and student in the Bachelor’s in Communication program. First Prize in the “Young Journalists” category at the “I Singapore 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games,” organized by the International Olympic Committee. April. Nicolás Medina Graduate of the Graphic Design program. First Prize in the Amnesty International logo contest for its 25 years of work in Uruguay. August. Bettina Rodríguez Student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. First Prize in the contest to design a new institutional logo for the Central Israeli Committee of Uruguay. September. Ana Carolina Fontana and María del Verdún Saravia Graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design. First Prize in the industrial design competition “10th CEMPREndimientos for Recycling Contest” for their project “Renova.” This project creates a space for the sorting and collection of waste for subsequent processing as raw material for the production of new products. The contest was organized by CEMPRE (Business Commitment to Recycling). September.
