Dr. Oded Balaban (Israel) Director of the Department of Philosophy in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Haifa. Activity: delivered the lecture series "Understanding the Conflict in the Middle East through the Media’s Interpretation of Discourse," May 31, June 22, and July 26. Dr. Alberto Spectorowsky (Israel) Full Professor of Political Theory and Comparative Politics at Tel Aviv University. Activity: delivered the lecture “Palestinians and Israelis in a New Peace Dialogue Initiative. Will It Be Possible This Time?”, September 20. Dr. Gustavo Perednik (Israel) Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Jewish Theological Seminary of New York. Distinguished as an Outstanding Professor at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Activity: presented his book “Killing Without Being Noticed. The Ayatollahs’ Attack on Argentina, the Cover-up of the AMIA Case, and the Prosecutor,” May 10; delivered the lecture series “Our Values: A Journey from Hebrew Sources to the Present,” May 11, July 6, October 13 and 14, and November 29; delivered the lecture “From Prejudice to Genocide. Anti-Semitism of Yesterday and Today” as part of the course “The Shoah: The Human Condition and Memory,” July 5. Prof. Nora Gaón (Israel) Director of the Hispanic Division of the Museum of Jewish Resistance in the Ghettos. Activity: She led the seminar “The Representation of the Shoah: Limits and Possibilities,” July 13 and 14. Dr. Maciej Kozlowski (Poland) Ambassador-at-Large for Polish-Jewish Relations and Director of the Middle East Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
