Activity: They led a group of thirty-three architecture students from the Universidad del Desarrollo who participated in a design seminar alongside architecture students from the Universidad ORT Uruguay to develop the “Pavilion for Music” project within the linear park along the Miguelete Stream, from September 25 to October 2. Arch. Juan Herreros (Spain) Professor of Projects and Director of the Senior Year Studio at the Madrid School of Architecture. Activity: participated in a session reviewing architecture projects, October 19. Arch. John Carmody (United States) Director of the Center for Sustainable Building Research at the University of Minnesota. Activity: delivered the lecture “The Role of Architectural Education and Research Centers in Climate Change,” October 21. Architect Pablo Azqueta (Argentina) Director of Research Projects at the Center for the Promotion of Architectural Research at the School of Architecture, Planning, and Design, National University of Rosario. Activity: gave the lecture “How to Address the New Thermal Insulation Regulations,” May 18. Architect Angélica Campi (Argentina) Winner of several editions of Casa Foa, one of Argentina’s largest design, decoration, and furniture exhibitions. 2006 Architecture Biennial Award, honorable mention in the “Housing” category, and First Prize in 2008 in the “Offices” category for the building designed for Fox Latin American Channel.
