17 Universidad ORT Uruguay BUILDING Universidad ORT Uruguay 2011 In 2011, the new School of Design building, located at the intersection of Mercedes and Cuareim, was inaugurated. has area of 2,650 m² and houses 21 classrooms, 10 laboratories, an auditorium, and a spacious central courtyard. This building houses the following degree programs: Bachelor of Graphic Design, Bachelor of Industrial Design, Bachelor of Fashion Design, Bachelor of Multimedia Design, and Bachelor of Animation and Video Games. Downtown Campus Central courtyard featuring sculptures by Octavio Podestá
