6 2012 Yearbook INSTITUTIONAL NEWS 2012 Ranking of the Best Business Schools in Latin America For the seventeenth consecutive year, the School of Business and Social Sciences was the only Uruguayan business school ranked among the best in Latin America in the annual ranking published by América Economía magazine. The results were released in May 2012, http://mba. americaeconomia.com/articulos/notas/resultados-ranking-mba- latinoamerica-2012 Eduniversal Business Schools Ranking 2012 More than a thousand deans of business schools worldwide voted in a survey organized by Eduniversal to determine the "2012 Ranking of the Best 1000 Business Schools." The Graduate School of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences was the only Uruguayan institution recognized as an Excellent Business School. The results were announced at the "5th Eduniversal World Convention," which took place from October 17 to 19, 2012, in Lima.
