9 Universidad ORT Uruguay 2012 GRADUATION Universidad ORT Uruguay The Graduation Ceremony is the moment when the Universidad ORT Uruguay community Universidad ORT Uruguay its graduates’ entry into professional life. It takes place at the Solís Theater with the participation of university officials, the new professionals, and their families and friends. It is also the occasion on which graduates distinguished with honors are specially recognized for their commitment to the university’s ethical standards and for their high academic performance. In 2012, two graduation ceremonies were held, on August 31 and November 30. A total of 245 graduates from degree programs across all faculties participated, 26 of whom graduated with honors.
