He taught the course “Internationalization Strategy” in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, February 4–8; he led a research seminar for faculty researchers, in which he presented his two most recent publications in the British Management Journal and the Journal of Economic Geography related to internationalization strategies, February 6. Dr. Xavier Gimbert (Spain) Tenured Professor in the Department of General Management and Strategy at ESADE Business School. He taught the “Competitive Strategy” module of programme Management Development (PMD) from May 6 to 8. Dr. Jordi Fabregat (Spain) Tenured Professor in the Department of Financial Control and Management and Director of the Master’s in Economic and Financial Management at ESADE Business School. He taught the “Corporate Finance” module of programme Management Development (PMD), July 1–2. Dr. Oscar Elvira (Spain) Coordinator of the Master’s in Banking and Finance at Pompeu Fabra University. He delivered the lecture “The Crisis of… Never Ending?” on August 19. Guillermo Amén Rodríguez (Spain) Professor in the Department of Operations Management and Innovation at ESADE Business School. He taught the module “Competing Through Operations” in programme Management Development (PMD) on September 23 and 24. Prof. Nora Lado (Spain) Professor of Marketing at Carlos III University of Madrid. She delivered the lecture “Social Media Monitoring: What Are the Most Commonly Used Tools? And the Metrics?”, November 6. Dr. Alejandro Bello Pintado (Spain) Professor of Business Organization at the Public University of Navarra. He visited the faculty as part of the Research Cooperation Project between UPNA and Universidad ORT Uruguay, November 28–December 4; he gave a talk to faculty researchers where he presented his main lines of research on energy economics from the perspective of pricing and contracts in the hydrocarbons sector, and organizational and technological innovation, primarily in industrial companies, December 4.
