13 GRADUATION CEREMONIES 2014 The graduation ceremony is the moment when the Universidad ORT Uruguay community Universidad ORT Uruguay its graduates’ entry into professional life. It takes place at the Solís Theater with the participation of university officials, the new professionals, and their families and friends. It is also the occasion on which graduates distinguished with honors are specially recognized for their commitment to the university’s ethical standards and for their high academic performance. In 2014, the university held two graduation ceremonies, on July 17 and November 26. A total of 410 graduates from all faculties participated, 45 of whom graduated with honors.
