53 Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Emprende Cultura The project aims to contribute to economic growth and human development in Uruguay by strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in cultural industries across the country. It includes training for faculty members at CTC Technological Institutes in the interior of the country so they can provide support to entrepreneurs in cultural industries. Project Lead: Enrique Topolansky, Coordinator of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Funding: European Commission (EC) Duration: 36 months Entrepreneurial Culture at the Technological University of Honduras (UTH) The project aims to help foster an entrepreneurial culture at the Technological University of Honduras (UTH) by training faculty in this area and replicating the experiences of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE). Project Leader: Enrique Topolansky, Coordinator of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Funding: Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) Duration: six months PROJECTS INITIATED OR APPROVED IN 2014 Institutional Women in Technology & Business Program 2014 The objective of this five-year project is to deliver a program aimed at first- and second-year students in the Colleges of Engineering and Business at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), United States, which includes a component of Spanish as a foreign language, a component of courses and workshops in the area of technology and business, and a series of talks by successful professional women, along with outreach and extracurricular activities.
