He delivered the lecture “Strategic Technology Decisions” at the University of San Andrés, Buenos Aires, on May 7. Dr. Juan Francisco Rosas (Argentina) Professor in the Department of Economics. He presented the paper “Nitrous oxide emission reductions from cutting excessive nitrogen fertilizer applications,” co-authored with Bruce A. Babcock and Dermot J. Hayes of the Department of Economics at Iowa State University, at the IV Regional Congress of Agricultural Economics and the XLV Annual Meeting of the Argentine Association of Agricultural Economics, Buenos Aires, October 21–23.
