66 2015 Yearbook STUDENT PROJECTS WITH EXTERNAL ORGANIZATIONS 20 15 School of Architecture Preliminary Renovation Design for ANIMA Technical High School Authors: Architecture Workshop 6 and the Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design Organization: ANIMA ANIMA is a new privately managed, tuition-free educational center located in the Conventuales building in Montevideo, offering a Technical High School program. The project aims to define the priority interior design needs, carry out an interior refurbishment of the Conventuales basement, and agree on a master action plan that maximizes the use of physical resources. Programs: Architecture and Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design Advisors: Antonella Abaldo, Jimena Chaibún, and Flavio Morán Chacras Cerro Místico Authors: Architecture Projects 9 and 10 Organization: Cerro Místico The project aims to create a model of self-sustaining housing that fosters changes in residents’ lifestyles. This project will focus particularly on the quality of the architectural proposal in relation to bioclimatic and technological aspects of sustainability, as well as its relationship with the landscape and energy environment. Ten five-hectare plots adjacent to the Cerro Místico hotel in the department of Lavalleja, four kilometers from the city of Minas, were allocated for the construction of these homes.
