Journal Citation Reports (Thomson Reuters) Enables a critical evaluation of the most prominent academic journals, classified by field of study. It offers quantifiable statistical information based on citation data. It provides impact and influence metrics, including the Impact Factor and Eigenfactor™ of journals. ProQuest Includes academic and peer-reviewed publications in the areas of business, marketing, human resources, humanities, social sciences, and over two million abstracts of doctoral dissertations and master’s theses. SpringerLink Collection of full-text e-books published between 2005 and 2006. It includes architecture and design, behavioral sciences, biomedicine and biological sciences, chemistry, business and economics, mathematics and statistics, among others. Additionally, the Timbó Portal (ANII) provides access to the databases currently subscribed to, available at: http://www. timbo.org.uy DEVELOPMENT OF THE LIBRARY COLLECTION 2016 Relevant library news in 2016 Chinese Corner at the Central Library of Universidad ORT Uruguay Central Library of Universidad ORT Uruguay cooperation with the Chinese National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (NOCFL)-Hanban, launched the Chinese Corner project, through which we received financial support, books, CDs, and DVDs for language instruction and the promotion of Chinese culture and history. Since the inauguration of the Chinese Corner, the library has been working directly with the Language Center, providing bibliographic materials, facilities, and funding to organize events and promote the Chinese language and culture.
