He accompanied a delegation of nine students from the Tourism Management Technician program to the 31st Tourism Business Fair organized by the Rio Grande do Sul Union of Tourism Operators and Representatives and the Brazilian Association of Tour Operators in Porto Alegre. This academic trip was supported by the Uruguayan Ministry of Tourism and the Uruguayan Consulate in Porto Alegre, April 13–14. Dr. Flavia Roldán (Brazil) Research Professor of Economics. She presented the paper “How a cartel operates. A model of organization design from a social network perspective” at the 2016 Meeting of the Association for Public Economic Theory, organized by the Association for Public Economic Theory, Rio de Janeiro, July 11–13. 16 Conducted jointly with Dr. Carlos Ponce, professor at the Latin American Institute of Doctrine and Social Studies at Alberto Hurtado University, Chile. Dr. Francisco Rosas (Brazil) Professor of Statistics and Econometrics. He presented the paper “Differences in soil use and productivity performance among farming organizational models: Analysis of Uruguayan crop production” 17 at the 11th Research Workshop on Institutions and Organizations, organized by the Center of Organization Studies, São Paulo, July 11–12. Prof. Marcos Baudean (Brazil) Associate Professor of Research Methodology. He presented the paper “The Problem of Creating the Central Bank as an Autonomous Organization in Uruguay: The Debate in the 1930s and Reform Attempts Between 1940 and 1965” at the 5th Latin American Congress of Economic History, São Paulo, July 19–21. Dr. Luis Silva Domingo (Chile) Academic Coordinator of the Master of Business Administration (MBA).
