They achieved a score in the top 8.25% of the regional finals of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) International Programming Contest, held in Buenos Aires. November. Likewise, Franco Gario, Martín Michelini, and Matías Rodríguez, Systems Engineering students, achieved a score in the top 9.91%. November. Rosario Monteverde, a graduate of the Master’s in Technology Business Management and Systems Engineering, and Magdalena Rodríguez, a graduate of the Bachelor’s in Graphic Design. The GPS GAY app, supported by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, was among the ten finalists for the EmprendO awards presented by the Café & Negocios supplement of the newspaper El Observador. December. Sonali Correa, teaching assistant in Biotechnology Research. She received a scholarship from the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) to fund a three-month research stay at the Aragon Institute of Materials Science at the University of Zaragoza, Spain. July. Magdalena Ripoll, graduate of Biotechnology Engineering. She received a Master’s Scholarship from the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) to pursue a graduate degree in Chemistry through the Basic Sciences Development Program (PEDECIBA).
