He visited the Center for Australian Studies and delivered the lecture “Earth Sciences and Their Relevance to Society,” alongside Néstor Campal, National Director of Mining and Geology at the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Mining, on November 28. Prof. Han Zhen (China) Chair of the University Council at Beijing Foreign Studies University. Prof. Liu Jian (China) Dean of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Beijing Foreign Studies University. They met with Dr. Jorge Grünberg, rector ; Eng. Julio Fernández, academic vice president; Dr. María Azpiroz, director of International Relations; and Lic. Miriam Kemna, Student Exchange Coordinator. Dr. Grünberg and Prof. Zhen signed a specific student exchange agreement between Beijing Foreign Studies University and Universidad ORT Uruguay on October 13.
