135 CONFERENCES AND ACADEMIC VISITS 2017 Dr. Valeria Grazú (Spain) Researcher at the Aragón Institute of Nanoscience at the University of Zaragoza. She visited the Biotechnology Laboratory and participated in workshops with representatives from the Virbac laboratory and researchers from the faculty’s Biotechnology department, June 19–27. She taught classes on Strategies for Enzyme Immobilization on Micro- and Nanosupports and the Importance of Orientation in Enzyme Immobilization as part of the Heterogeneous Biocatalysis course held at the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Center (CBI+I) on December 4 and 6. Dr. Fernando López Gallego (Spain) Principal Investigator in the Department of Catalysis and Catalytic Processes at the Institute of Chemical Synthesis and Homogeneous Catalysis of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) – University of Zaragoza. He presented on Immobilized Multi-enzymatic Systems and Characterization of Multifunctional Heterogeneous Biocatalysts as part of the Heterogeneous Biocatalysis course held at the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Center (CBI+I) on December 6 and 7. (United States) Cybersecurity Consultant for the OAS Inter-American Committee against Terrorism.
