153 LECTURES AND ACADEMIC VISITS 2017 Dr. Joaquín Gairín Dr. Joaquín Gairín (Spain) Professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He taught the course “Management of Organizational Development Processes” as part of the Master’s in Educational Management program on July 23 and 24. He delivered the lecture “The Challenge Facing Today’s Educational Organizations: Promoting and Advancing Care for Vulnerable Groups,” on July 25. Dr. Jesús Manso (Spain) Professor in the Department of Didactics and Theory of Education at the Autonomous University of Madrid. He taught the course “Permanent Thesis Workshop 4” for the Doctorate in Education on July 24, 25, and 28. Mag. Renato Opertti (Switzerland) Coordinator of UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education. He led the workshop “Notes for a Common Curriculum Framework for Basic and Youth Education” as part of the Series of Workshops and Conferences on Educational Innovation for the “Formar y Aprender” program organized by Eduy21, September 4 and 5.
