They were invited to join the Scientific Committee of the III Latin American Congress on Educational Measurement and Evaluation (COLMEE 2018), which took place in Montevideo. May. This is an initiative led by the United Nations that brings together a select group of experts in education, technology, and health, with the aim of rethinking the expansion, diversification, and strengthening of the teaching workforce to improve learning outcomes. She was selected to participate as an education expert in the 13th session of the Committee of Experts on the Application of Recommendations concerning the Teaching Profession (CEART) of the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), among twelve education experts from five continents.
