He delivered the lecture “The Blockchain Revolution” on September 4. Dr. Robyn Eversole (Australia) Deputy Director, Centre for Social Impact, Swinburne University of Technology, and board member of the Council on Australia-Latin America Relations (COALAR). She led the workshop “Social Impact in the Uruguayan Context” on August 20 and delivered the lecture “Defining and Measuring Social Impact” on August 21. Dr. Tihomir Ancev (Australia) Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Sydney. Together with Dr. Francisco Rosas, Professor of Econometrics and Statistics at the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences, he taught the country’s first course on the Economics of Water Resource Management at the faculty’s Graduate School, September 24–28 and October 23–26. Horst Pilger (Belgium) Head of Sector in the Latin America and Caribbean Directorate at the European Union’s Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development. Ismo Ulvila (Belgium) European Union representative to the Standing Committee on Finance of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. They delivered the lecture “The European Union’s Commitment and Leadership in the Global Fight Against Climate Change,” organized by the Delegation of the European Union in Uruguay and the Department of International Studies of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences, August 22.
