They participated in the annual meeting of the World ORT Board of Representatives, held at ORT Argentina in Buenos Aires from May 6 to 8. Dr. María Azpiroz (Argentina), Director of International Relations. Julio Fernández (Argentina), Academic Vice Rector. They participated in the Latin American Symposium of the World Forum for Chinese Studies, organized by the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS). Mr. Fernández signed a memorandum of understanding with SASS on behalf of Universidad ORT Uruguay, with the aim of deepening scientific and educational relations between the two institutions, and Dr. Azpiroz participated in a panel on “China-Latin America Cooperation: Opportunities and Challenges,” where she presented on “China-Latin America Academic Cooperation in Higher Education,” Buenos Aires, December 3 and 4.
