They accompanied the winning teams of the 18th ORT Programming Contest to the South American Final of the Latin American Regional Competition of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) International Programming Contest, which took place at the University of Buenos Aires. Eng. De Sosa also participated as a coach, and Dr. Kereki served as a judge for the competition, Buenos Aires, November 10. Erienne Jackson, B.S. (Argentina) Associate Professor of Protein Technology. She presented the peer-reviewed article “Crude glycerol transformation with immobilized G. oxydans in agar” 5 at the 3rd Latin American Symposium on Biocatalysis and Biotransformations organized by the Argentine Society of Biocatalysis and Biotransformations, San Luis, November 27–30. Magdalena Ripoll, B.S. (Argentina) Graduate in Biotechnology Engineering. She presented the article “Strategies to improve the conversion of crude glycerol with Gluconobacter strains” 6 at the 3rd Latin American Symposium on Biocatalysis and Biotransformations organized by the Argentine Society of Biocatalysis and Biotransformations, San Luis, November 27–30. Guillermo Langwagen, Eng. (Bolivia) Academic Coordinator of the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering program. He participated as a peer reviewer for the accreditation of the Industrial Engineering program at the Gabriel René Moreno Autonomous University, Santa Cruz, November 13–16. 5 Conducted in collaboration with Eng.
