129 AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS 2019 Juan Francisco Noya, architecture student. He won second prize in the national round in South Korea of the 2019 Saint-Gobain Multi Comfort Student Contest. Noya participated in the contest while completing a semester-long academic exchange at Korea University. May. María Paula Fagioli, Sofía Ferrés, and María del Pilar Maronna, architecture students. Their team, Trinca, won third place in the international BAM! competition, organized by the Catalan platform for student architecture competitions ArchMedium, for the design of a museum dedicated to conveying the heritage, architectural, and urban value of Berlin. Likewise, the team Seven, composed of Belén Palacio, Rocío Nicola, and Milagros Uriarte, architecture students, received an honorable mention for their project. July. Francisco Díaz Pérez, professor and architecture graduate. He is the author, alongside Matías Beccar, of the project that won first mention in the national ideas competition to create a memorial at the former Punta Carretas prison. Sebastián Devoto, Sebastián Mengot, and Haygaz Sala, architecture graduates, participated as collaborators on the project. Julio. Daniel Belandria, professor in the Department of Urban Planning.
