Rosana Sampedro, M.A. (Argentina) Professor in the Bachelor’s Program in Educational Administration and Supervision at the Catholic University of Argentina. They taught the course “Strategic Planning in Educational Management” as part of the Diploma in Educational Planning and Management on August 26. Dr. Celia Rosemberg (Argentina) Director of the Interdisciplinary Center for Research in Mathematical and Experimental Psychology (Ciipme). She participated in the defense of José Arrueta’s doctoral thesis, titled “ICT and the Intercultural Perspective in an E-learning Program for Higher Education Toward Inclusive Education,” as thesis advisor, September 18. Dr. José Ignacio Porras (Chile) Director of the social media consulting firm ARSChile. He taught the course Society and Institutions in the Master’s in Educational Management program, July 14–16. Met with the Uruguayan team of “Networks and Digital Inclusion,” a project of the Institute of Education at Universidad ORT Uruguay collaboration with ARS Chile, to define aspects related to its dissemination and the design of the online survey to be administered in educational institutions, July 16. Dr. Joaquín Gairín (Spain) Professor in the Department of Applied Pedagogy at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He taught the course “Management of Organizational Development Processes” for the Master’s in Educational Management and the Master’s in Education, June 2–4. Prof. Martha Rodríguez Guillén (Mexico) Professor and doctoral candidate in the Doctoral Program in Education at the Autonomous University of Puebla. She visited the university and met with Dr. Denise Vaillant, academic secretary of the Institute of Education, and with Mag. Andrea Tejera, academic coordinator of the Master’s in Educational Management, along with Víctor Manuel Barceló, Mexican ambassador to Uruguay, to discuss the possibility of academic exchanges between the Autonomous University of Puebla and the Institute of Education, September 19.
