She presented on “The Regional Expansion Policies of the Sodre Department of Film and Art” at the 9th International Conference on Research into Chilean and Latin American Cinema, Santiago, Chile, September 3–6. Prof. Hugo Millán (Spain) Professor of Fashion Design. He visited the exhibition of his costume design project for the ballet *Quijote del Plata*, a work premiered by the Sodre National Ballet at the ceremony for the Miguel de Cervantes Prize for Literature in the Spanish Language, awarded to the Uruguayan poet Ida Vitale, in Alcalá de Henares on April 10. He also traveled as a guest costume designer for *El Quijote del Plata* for the play’s premiere at five Spanish venues: the Castell de Peralada Festival, Catalonia; the 2019 Almagro Classical Theater Festival, Castilla-La Mancha; Teatro Auditorio Escorial, Madrid; Sagunt a Escena, Valencia; and the Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria, Santander, July 23 to August 15. He presented the “Fundamentals” project at the Carolan Research Forum Conference, held at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), Texas, on April 5 and 6. He participated in the Cumulus conference “Around the campfire: resilience and intelligence” and in the general assembly of Cumulus (International Association of Universities and Colleges of Art, Design and Media), where the affiliation of Universidad ORT Uruguay a full member of that association was approved, Rovaniemi, May 27–June 1.
