Luis Miravitlles (Spain) Professor in the Operations Management and Technology Department at IE Business School. He taught the Operations Management course for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from September 14 to 18. Dr. María Antonia García-Benau (Spain) Professor in the Faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia. Taught the course “Auditing: Practical and Economic Aspects” for the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS, November 9–December 7. Dr. John Chandler (United States) Professor in the Department of Marketing at the University of Montana. He taught the course Data Visualization and Storytelling for the MBA and the Specialization Diploma in Business Analytics, March 2–6. Dr. John Branch (United States) Academic Director of Part-Time MBA Programs and Clinical Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He taught the course Competitive Strategic Simulation for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program on April 29, May 6, 13, 20, and 27, and June 3, 10, and 17. Dr. Martin Palouš (United States and Czech Republic) Director and Senior Fellow, Vaclav Havel programme Human Rights and Diplomacy, School of International and Public Affairs, Florida International University. He served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the United States, and Permanent Representative of the Czech Republic to the United Nations. He delivered the lecture “Contemporary Challenges of Democracy,” organized by the Department of International Studies of the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences and CESCOS (Center for the Study of Contemporary Open Societies), June 17. Dr. Patrick Noonan (United States) Associate Professor at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. He taught the course Decision Analysis and Problem Solving for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program from June 29 to July 3. He also taught the course Decision Analysis and Problem Solving for the first cohort of the EMBA (Executive MBA) blended learning program on September 15 and 16.
