They led the Project Seminar (via videoconference) for the Architecture Project 7 course, with the aim of developing a proposal for the renovation of the coastal area along the South Bay of the city of Florianópolis, April 17 to May 8. Arch. Fernando de Mello Franco (Brazil) Director of the Institute of Urbanism and Studies for the Metropolis (Urbem). He led the seminar “Ecological Urbanism and Green Infrastructure in the City” at the 1st Seminar on Urbanism and the Environment organized by the Chair of Urbanism and the Environment, September 24. Arch. Matheus Seco (Brazil) Co-founder of the firm Bloco Arquitetos. He delivered the videoconference “Tectonics and Place” as part of the Contemporary Reflections series, organized by the Chair of History and Theory of Architecture, October 15. Arch. Mathías Klotz (Chile) Dean and associate professor at the School of Architecture, Art, and Design at Diego Portales University. He delivered the virtual talk “Associated Housing” for students in Project 4 of the Architecture program on October 19. Arch. Mag. Néstor Llorca (Ecuador) Dean of the School of Architecture and Engineering at SEK International University. Dr. Arch. Verónica Rosero (Ecuador) Professor of Architectural Projects and Analysis and Criticism at the School of Architecture of the Central University of Ecuador. They presented the videoconference “Ethel Arias: A Uruguayan in Ecuadorian Architecture” on November 26. Architect José Luis Infanzón (Spain), General Director of Public Space, Works, and Infrastructure in the Sustainable Urban Development Department of the Madrid City Council. He presented on “The Reinvention of Central Public Space: The Experience of Madrid Río, Gran Vía, and Plaza España in the City of Madrid” at the 1st Seminar on Urban Planning and the Environment organized by the Chair of Urban Planning and the Environment, September 9. Dr. Yael Duthilleul (France) Technical Advisor at the Council of Europe Development Bank. She delivered the online presentation “School Design and Learning: European Experiences” as part of the executive course The Future of Educational Architecture, led by Dr. Paula Cardellino, a faculty researcher, on November 4. Architect Álvaro Uribe (Panama) Professor at the University of Panama and associate researcher at the International Center for Sustainable Development (Cides). He presented the seminar “Panama, the sprawling city and public transportation” at the 1st Seminar on Urban Planning and Environment, September 16.
