Campuses

The university has two campuses with easy access by public transport.

Campus Centro in downtown Montevideo hosts the rectorate and the main administrative offices as well as the School of Engineering, the School of Communication and Design, the Institute of Education, the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and the Department of Jewish Studies.

The School of Management and Social Sciences and the School of Architecture are located at Campus Pocitos, in a residential neighborhood.

Resources

We are proud to showcase two brand new state-of-the-art biotechnology laboratories, one dedicated for researchers from the industry and advanced students and another for regular student use.

The School of Communication and Design houses fully equipped studios for television, radio and multimedia production and a well-appointed studio for 3D printing, textile and industrial design. Architecture students enjoy free use of the model-making workshop.

Universidad ORT Uruguay offers personalized education with no more than 35 students per class.

Student-professor communication is emphasized. Students have access to an online-learning platform and computer terminals on both campuses, where full WiFi coverage is also available. Each campus boasts a library, cafeterias, green courtyards and recreation areas.
