6 2010 Yearbook INSTITUTIONAL NEWS 2010 2010 World University Rankings Universidad ORT Uruguay ranked among the top 500 universities in the world and among the top 10 in Latin America in the 2010 QS World University Rankings, published on September 15. The main criteria for the rankings are academic peer reviews, employer evaluations, and published research. Of the more than 700 universities in Latin America, only 10 were ranked among the top 500 in the world. The top 10 universities are American or British. The University of Cambridge tops the list, followed by Harvard University. Ranking of the Best Business Schools in Latin America For the fifteenth consecutive year, the Faculty of Administration and Social Sciences was the only Uruguayan business school ranked among the top 35 in Latin America in the annual ranking conducted by América Economía magazine (published in issue 388 of June 2010), www.ort.edu.uy/facs/35mejores
