Ricardo Ehrlich, Dr. Rodolfo Silveira, and Dr. Jorge Grunberg Dr. Daniel Perednik Inauguration of the Biotechnology Laboratory On June 16, the Biotechnology Laboratory located at the intersection of Cuareim and Mercedes was inaugurated. Speakers included the Minister of Education and Culture, Dr. Ricardo Ehrlich; the President of the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII), Dr. Rodolfo Silveira; and the Rector Universidad ORT Uruguay, Dr. Jorge Grunberg. This laboratory is equipped to work with the main techniques used in the field. It has bench space for 20 people working simultaneously, with their respective personal equipment, along with additional areas for shared equipment, rooms for bacterial and eukaryotic cell cultures, as well as rooms for DNA and RNA amplification.
