52 2011 Yearbook, School of Architecture Seventh Edition of the "Design Your Room" Contest The School of Architecture, with the support of Radio Disney, organized the seventh edition of the "Design Your Room" contest, aimed at 10th and 11th grade students from public and private high schools across the country. The contest involves submitting design and furnishing proposals for one’s personal space. The winning project was created by Alejandro Danon, a student at EIHU–IAHU School, who received a full scholarship to pursue a degree in Architecture or a Bachelor’s in Interior Design. The second prize, consisting of a 50% scholarship, went to Pablo Rognone, a student at San José Departmental High School No. 1, and the project by Germán Moreira, a student at the Crandon Institute, won third prize, with a 30% scholarship. Institute of Education First AGE Network Uruguay Seminar: Management, a Critical Challenge for Educational Quality and Equity On July 11 and 12, the "First AGE Network Uruguay Seminar: Management, a Critical Challenge for Educational Quality and Equity" took place at the Institute for Professional Development and Higher Studies (IPES). The AGE Network is a Network for Educational Management Support established in 2008 with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation.
