She was awarded a master’s degree scholarship (Basic Sciences Development Program) through her application to the 2012 call for National Postgraduate Scholarships in Strategic Areas issued by the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII). The proposal, titled “In vitro Use of Immobilized Enzyme Systems,” is supervised by Dr. Lorena Betancor, a research professor in Biotechnology. December. Martín Zubeldía Research teaching assistant in the MATE group (Mathematics Applied to Telecommunications). He received a master’s scholarship to pursue a Master’s in Engineering (Research Track) at Universidad ORT Uruguay his application to the 2012 call for National Postgraduate Scholarships in Strategic Areas by the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII). The proposal, titled “Performance in Wireless and Peer-to-Peer Networks,” is supervised by Dr. Fernando Paganini, Professor of Telecommunications Theory, and co-supervised by Dr. Andrés Ferragut, Associate Professor of Telecommunications Theory. December. María Elena De Paula School of Communication and Design. Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design alongside Mariné Villalba. Her startup “Femway” won first place in the competition organized by the El Observador website, which selected the fifteen most innovative startups in Uruguay. The initiative also won the “Venture Day Iberoamericano + R” competition and took first place in the “Emprendedores en la Mira” competition, organized by the Fondo Emprender. January. Leonardo Haberkorn Academic Coordinator of Journalism. His book “El Dulce de Leche: A Uruguayan Story” was the winner for Uruguay in the 2011 edition of the international “Gourmand World Cookbook Awards.” January.
