78 2012 Yearbook David Blankleider Graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication. The film “Cubiertos de plata,” directed and written by Blankleider, won the Ancap Award in the “Debut Feature” category in the first call for proposals from the Film Promotion Fund for the production of audiovisual content. April. Mauro De Soza, Agustín Ellis, Sebastián Pérez Traverso, and Germán Rodríguez, graduates of the Digital Animation Technician program; Andrés Genolet and Florentina Pérez Ferrando, students in the Digital Animation Technician program. The animated short “Completed,” the result of a collaborative effort with students and graduates from Brigham Young University (BYU), won first prize for Best Digital Animation at the 2nd edition of the “La Truca International Animation Festival,” held in Cali, Colombia. April. María Victoria Ardanz, Graphic Design student. She won first prize in the poster contest organized by the “XI Latin American Congress of Communication Researchers – ALAIC 2012.” May.
