80 Yearbook 2012 Virginia Hinze, Graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication, and Pablo Martínez Pessi, Graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication. The feature-length documentary project “Tus padres volverán,” directed and produced by Martínez Pessi and co-produced by Hinze, won the “Cinépolis” award in the “Project Development” category at the “Morelia Lab” event held in Morelia, Mexico. November. The project also received one of the development grants from the Ibermedia Program, awarded following the meeting of the program’s Intergovernmental Committee in Buenos Aires. December. Sebastián Mayayo, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Communication, and Ramiro Ozer Ami, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. The documentary project “Las flores del Pepe,” directed by Ozer Ami and Mayayo, won first prize in the “Pitch” category (projects in development) at the “DocBuenosAires 2012” festival, awarded by the National Film Board of Canada. December. Timothy Goodman, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design, received an Honorable Mention in the Student Category—Living Room Furniture Division—at “Salão Design Movelsul 2012,” the largest product design competition in Latin America, for his product “Mesa Justa.” March.
