Their company, Kidbox—mentored by the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship—took sixth place in the selection of the ten best startups in Latin America in the Pulso StartUp10 competition. February. Diego Murara, student in the Bachelor’s program in International Studies. He was selected to join, along with a group of young people between the ages of 25 and 40, a program organized by the American Council of Young Political Leaders, at the invitation of the U.S. Department of State. The objective of this program, which took place in Washington, D.C., and the state of Virginia, was to participate in activities related to that country’s presidential election. October. Santiago Caramés, Matías Eustathiou, Carla Fontana, and Juan José Riva Students in the Bachelor’s Program in International Studies. They received a scholarship to participate in the Institute for Leadership in the Americas program, which took place at the Universidad de los Andes in Santiago, Chile. The activity was organized by The Fund for American Studies. January Alejandro Mongrell Student in the Bachelor’s Program in International Studies. Received a scholarship to participate in the program of the International Institute for Political and Economic Studies, which took place at the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Chania, Crete, Greece. Selected by the Marcelino Botín Foundation as Uruguay’s sole representative to participate in the “Botín Fellowship Program for the Strengthening of the Civil Service in Latin America,” which took place in the United States and Spain.
