Participated as a member of the Uruguayan Ad Hoc Accreditation Commission at “LACHEC 2013,” the Latin American and Caribbean Conference on the Internationalization of Higher Education, organized by the Colombian Network for the Internationalization of Higher Education. He served on the panel “Mechanisms for the Internationalization of Quality: Successful Cases of Regional Accreditation,” held in Barranquilla from November 13 to 15. Prof. Charlotte de Grünberg (Israel), Director General. Dr. Jorge Grünberg (Israel), Rector. They attended the annual “World ORT Robert and Eileen Sill National Directors Forum,” which took place at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, May 21–24. Dr. Grünberg delivered the presentation “Ethical challenges in technology education. He presented the paper “The Shoah in the Education of Young Uruguayan Jews” at the “16th World Congress of Jewish Studies” organized by the World Union of Jewish Studies and the Center for Research on Latin American Judaism (AMILAT) at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, July 28–August 1. Dr. Gustavo Perednik (Russia) Visiting Professor in the Department of Jewish Studies. He presented the paper “Hostility toward Jews in Latin America as depicted in the novel La bolsa” at the “5th International Conference on Orientalism and the Asian and Arab Presence in the Hispanic and Lusophone World: Transcultural and Transmodern Readings between Eastern and Western Countries,” organized by Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, St. Petersburg, April 12–13.
