They received the Emerging Leaders in the Americas programme scholarship programme the Government of Canada to spend an academic semester at the Université du Québec à Montréal, Université Laval, or York University. He received a scholarship to participate in the activities of the International Winter School at the National University of the Littoral, Santa Fe (Argentina). July. School of Architecture: Carlos Bretón and Andrés Buencristiano, instructors for the Interior Design Bachelor’s Program workshop; Mauricio Otero, a graduate of the Interior Design program; and Mariana Gascue, an Interior Design student. They were honored at the 2014 Interior Design Night, organized by the Association of Professional Interior Designers of Uruguay (Addip). Architect Bretón received the Completed Work Award in the Furnishings category for his Living Room Table and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Designer Buencristiano was awarded the Furnishings Design Award and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Designers Otero and Gascue were honored in the Commercial Micro-Space category. November.
