123 Marina Silva (Brazil) A leading figure in social and environmental issues in Brazil and Latin America. She served as Brazil’s Minister of the Environment. She delivered the “Marina Silva Regional Conferences on Sustainable Development,” organized by the Fundación Futuro Latinoamericano with the support of the Regional Center for Climate Change and Decision-Making and Universidad ORT Uruguay, on May 26. Dr. Jair Fagundes (Brazil) Accounting researcher at Universidade Paulista. He taught the Ethics Seminar in the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS, December 15–17. He taught the course Business, Society, and Ethics in the Master’s in Financial Management, December 15–19. Jorge Chávez, Eng. (Chile) Director of the Center for Business Logistics at Adolfo Ibáñez University. Taught the course “Supply Chain Management” in the Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) program, July 7–11. Dr. César Omar López (Colombia) Full Professor in the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences at the Autonomous University of the West. Taught the course Social and Environmental Accounting in the Master’s in Taxation and Accounting Standards – IFRS, December 8–12. Dr. José Pla Barber (Spain) Director of the Doctoral Program in Business Management at the University of Valencia.
