Gerardo Quintana (Chile), Database Professor. He presented the paper “Case Study on Tools for the Automatic Generation of Test Cases,” co-authored with Dr. Martín Solari and Dr. Santiago Matalonga, at the 17th Ibero-American Congress on Software Engineering (CIbSE 2014), organized by the University of La Frontera, Pucón, April 23–25. He delivered the lecture “Empirical Methods Applied to Software Engineering Research” at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile, Santiago, Chile, March 3–7. Dr. Lorena Betancor (Chile), Research Professor of Biotechnology. She served as an evaluator for the doctoral thesis “Evaluation of the Selectivity of Immobilized Lipases in Asymmetric Synthesis Reactions” by Nadia Guajarado at the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (PUCV), May 19.
