109 AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS 2015 Mercedes Dominioni, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Communication with a concentration in Audiovisual Studies, and Gerardo Castelli, academic coordinator of the Audiovisual program. The documentary project *The Creator of Universes*, directed by Dominioni and produced by Castelli, was selected for the 2015 edition of DocMontevideo’s Documentary Pitching event. June. Daniel Appel, a student in the Digital Animation Technician program; Pablo D’Angelo, a faculty member in the Bachelor’s in Industrial Design program; Martín Kugelmass and María Victoria Scola, students in the Bachelor’s in Industrial Design program; Nicolás Noblia, Sebastián Ruiz Díaz, and Julián San Martín, graduates of the Bachelor’s in Industrial Design program; and Rosina Secondi. The urban bench Street Fighter! , created by the firm Elemento, composed of D’Angelo, Noblia, and Ruiz Díaz; the Escritorio Nido project, created by Appel, San Martín, Scola, and Secondi; and the works Jiral and Skandinavia, created by Kugelmass’s studio Súrdico, were selected to participate in the SUM exhibition—Uruguayan Furniture Selection, organized by the Uruguayan Chamber of Design. November. Clara Bird, Fiorella Botta, Lucas Dalla Rizza, María Eugenia Inchauspe, Camila Neve, and Lucas Rodríguez, students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design program. Their posters were selected for the competition organized by the Mexican Museum of Design under the slogan “To death with a smile.” Four hundred posters were chosen from a total of 22,000 submitted by designers from around the world. The finalist posters were exhibited in the gallery of the Mexican Museum of Design until February 29, 2016. December. Still from the documentary The Creator of Universes
