Pablo Segalerba, professor in the Taxation Department. He was appointed a member of the Inter-American Technical Commission on Taxation and Fiscal Policy of the Inter-American Accounting Association. December. Sabrina Bielawski, graduate in Public Accounting. She was selected by the selection committee of the Ibero-American Young Leaders Program to participate in the 13th edition of the Ibero-American Young Leaders Program, organized by the Carolina Foundation in collaboration with the Santander Group and the Rafael del Pino Foundation, which took place from June 14 to 28 in Madrid, Brussels, La Rioja, and Ávila. She was selected by the Botín Foundation as Uruguay’s sole representative to participate in the Program for Strengthening the Civil Service in Latin America, which takes place in the United States, Spain, and Brazil. June. Matías Eustathiou, María González, and Juan José Riva, graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies, and Stephany Scotto, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Economics. They were selected in the 2015–2016 call for applications for the British Government’s Chevening Scholarships to pursue master’s degrees at universities in the United Kingdom. June. He was selected by the Botín Foundation to participate in the seminar “Creating Public Value: Challenges for Management and Public Policy,” which took place from July 20 to 24 at Harvard University. July. Marcelo Kronfeld, a graduate of the Bachelor’s program in Management and Administration and founder of Inzone and Pagoyvoy.com. He was selected by the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and the U.S. Embassy in Uruguay to participate in a program for entrepreneurs at the University of California, Berkeley.
