112 2015 Yearbook AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS 2015 Raúl Amado, a student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Administration; Florencia Boado, Déborah Fernández, and Bettina Schiavo, students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting; Lucía Costa, María Josefina Insúa, and Ximena Serra, students in the Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies. They received the Emerging Leaders in the Americas programme scholarship programme the Government of Canada to spend an academic semester at the Université du Québec à Montréal. July. Francisco Díaz and María Florencia Prego, students in the Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Administration. They received the Emerging Leaders in the Americas programme scholarship programme the Government of Canada to spend an academic semester at Université Laval. July. Jonathan Arriola, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies and instructor of Fundamentals of Social Research. He received the Erasmus Mundus Euro Philosophie scholarship awarded by the European Union to pursue a Master’s in Franco-German Philosophy, which will take place at several European universities. July. School of Architecture La Casa Uruguaya designed by students and faculty from all of the university’s schools, was declared of educational interest by the Directorate of Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture. August. It also won first prize in the 2015 Solar Decathlon Latin America and the Caribbean international competition. December.
