He served as an external examiner for the final projects of the Systems Engineering and Systems Bachelor’s Degree programs, April 13–17, and October 1, 2, 7, and 8. Dr. Diego Garbervestky (Argentina) Adjunct professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences, University of Buenos Aires. He served as an external examiner for final projects in Systems Engineering and the Bachelor’s Degree in Systems from April 13 to 17 and October 1, 2, 7, and 8. He delivered the lecture “Toward full elasticity in distributed static analysis” at the workshop “Combining Architecture Descriptions with Empirical and Formal Analysis for Quality Assurance of Large-Scale Software,” organized by the Chair of Computer Theory, December 16. Dr. Luis Olsina (Argentina) Director of the Systems Engineering and Software Analyst programs at the School of Engineering, National University of La Pampa. He served as an external reviewer for the final projects of Systems Engineering and Systems Bachelor’s degree students, April 13–17. Alejandro Banzas (Argentina), Technical Specialist at Microsoft Argentina. He led the workshop “The process of developing and publishing an application for Windows 8 and Windows Phone using App Studio and Visual Studio 2013,” alongside Gonzalo García, Technical Specialist at Microsoft Uruguay, April 23. Dr. Daniel Fridlender (Argentina) Associate Professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics, Astronomy, and Physics, National University of Córdoba. Dr. Miguel Pagano (Argentina) Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics, Astronomy, and Physics, National University of Córdoba. They made an academic visit to the Faculty of Engineering as part of the Bilateral Cooperation Project of the National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) – National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) of Argentina, titled “Dependent Type Theory: Meta-theory and Applications,” in which researchers from the Department of Computer Science at the faculty are participating, December 7–14.
