Similar technology has been developed in other countries, but with different strains of microalgae. Project Leader: Rodrigo Achigar, Professor of Biotechnology. Funding: National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and Alcoholes del Uruguay (Alur) Duration: 12 months Downstream processing in the production of a veterinary vaccine The objective of this project is to improve the downstream process in the production of a veterinary vaccine. It aims to optimize the purification of Clostridium perfringens epsilon toxin used in the production of veterinary vaccines. Principal Investigator: Mariana Ferrari, Coordinator of the Biotechnology Laboratory. Funding: National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII) and LTA Biotechnology. Duration: 12 months. SIMON: Generation of Indices and Public Metrics for the Internet Community. The objective of this project is to provide up-to-date, high-quality measurements of Internet connectivity in the Latin American and Caribbean region.
