He delivered the lecture “Meeting Point: Illustrating Worlds” and led a practical workshop on Illustration at the 10th Latin American Design Conference organized by the University of Palermo, Buenos Aires, July 28. Fernando Díaz Morales (Bolivia) Lecturer in Typography for the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. He delivered the lecture “Typography from Uruguay” and led the workshop “Moving Soap Types” as part of the Bolivia BICeBé 2015 Poster Biennial, La Paz, November 16–21. Oscar Aguirre (Brazil), Industrial Designer. Academic Secretary of the School of Design. Visited the Centro Universitário Belas Artes in São Paulo and the Universidade Anhembi Morumbi to explore potential avenues for collaboration and academic agreements, São Paulo, April 13–17. Fabián Barros (Brazil), Professor of Annual Portfolio 4 in the Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Design. Participated in the opening of the art and technology exhibition Observation Space by Media Art Lab Mercosul, organized by the Goethe-Institut Porto Alegre, where he exhibited his project “La Máquina Enteogénica” alongside artists from Germany, Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, Porto Alegre, May 21. Dr. Gonzalo Frasca (Brazil) Professor of Video Games. He delivered the lecture “Learning Math with Video Game Tutorials” and participated in the roundtable discussion “Trends in Distance Education” at the 21st International Congress on Distance Education, organized by the Brazilian Association of Distance Education, Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, October 25–29.
