She was the winner of the Second Prize in Children’s and Young Adult Literature Illustration, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture in its third edition. October. María Eugenia Pérez Burger and Fernando Travieso, graduates of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. They were named International Student Ambassadors for the city of Seoul by the Korean Ambassador to Uruguay, Mr. Hanjun Yoo. April. Álvaro Zunini, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. He was selected as one of the international jurors in the Outdoor category for the 2016 edition of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity. June. Fabián Bicco, a graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, along with Santiago Bicco, Diego Cajade, and Martín Cajade. Their poster proposal received an honorable mention in the 2016 National Crafts Award Poster Contest. May. Carolina Curbelo, a graduate and instructor in the Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. She received the “BID | Comprehensive/Transversal Designs and Citizen Participation / UCCI” honorable mention for her Ghierra Intendente project, selected from over 450 entries, at the 5th Ibero-American Design Biennial (BID16) in Madrid. November. Rodrigo Alem, professor of Video Game Design; María Virginia Ambrosoni, graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Video Games; and Rodrigo Moles, student in the Bachelor’s Degree in Animation and Video Games. The Hadas Superadas series project, in which Alem, Ambrosoni, and Moles participated, was one of the finalists in the New Animated Series for Cartoon Network contest held as part of the Chilemonos International Animation Festival.
