Their architectural proposal, “Flipped,” won second prize in the Island of Arts Venice competition organized by Arquideas, a community of students and young professionals in architecture and design. She was part of the team that won second prize in the public competition for urban and landscape design proposals for Plaza 19 de Abril and the Microcentro of the City of Treinta y Tres, promoted by the Municipality of Treinta y Tres and sponsored by the Society of Architects of Uruguay. December. José Freitas, professor of the Urban Planning Workshop. He was appointed National Director of Land Use Planning at the Ministry of Housing, Land Use Planning, and the Environment. June. Institute of Education Denise Vaillant, Academic Secretary of the Institute of Education. Since January 1, 2016, she has been a member of the Editorial Board of the journal *Calidad en la Educación*, a biannual publication that provides up-to-date information on higher education in Chile and around the world. January. Eduardo Rodríguez Zidán, Associate Academic Coordinator of Graduate Studies, and Carlos Marcelo, member of the Academic Committee of the Doctorate in Education and visiting professor. Their project “Ubiquitous Learning. Mobile Devices and Learning Ecologies in the Initial Training of Secondary School Teachers in Uruguay” was selected for funding by the Education Sector Fund, Digital Inclusion modality, created by the National Agency for Research and Innovation and the Ceibal Center Foundation.
