They participated and accompanied the two winning teams from the 16th ORT Programming Contest to the Latin American Regional Competition of the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) International Programming Contest, which took place at the University of Buenos Aires on November 12. Dr. Santiago Matalonga (Brazil) Professor in the Department of Software Engineering. Visited the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro to hold progress meetings on the Context Aware Software Testing for Ubiquitous Systems (Cactus) project, March 2–5. She served on the thesis committee for Felyppe Rodriguez’s Master’s thesis in Systems and Computer Engineering, titled “Cats design: A context-aware testing approach,” whose primary advisor is Guilherme Hortas Travassos, full professor in the Systems and Computer Engineering Program at that university, on March 4. Dr. Inés Friss de Kereki (Brazil), Professor of Programming. She participated in the implementation of the Portuguese version of the MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) “A Programar” at the University of São Paulo, July 13–16. She presented the article “Use of visual resources applied to the initial teaching of Programming” 3 at the peer-reviewed conference “Problem-based learning and active learning methodologies - innovation for teaching and learning,” São Paulo, September 8–10. 3 Conducted together with Eng.
